U.S. preparing additional sanctions against Iran

The United States intends to increase sanctions against Iran for helping Russia in a full-scale war in Ukraine after reports that Tehran plans to send Moscow missiles for use on the battlefield.
Politico writes this, citing a U.S. presidential administration official.
"We are absolutely going to impose sanctions on anyone who helps Iranians help Russians kill Ukrainians," the source said on condition of anonymity.
The official added that Joe Biden's administration has in the past divulged information about Iranian arms sales to Russia and made it clear that this would lead to sanctions.
He declined to talk about specific sanctions, but they would likely include economic restrictions and export controls that would target third parties that help Tehran and Moscow.
