According to him, the United States and its allies will "send a positive message" about Ukraine's future membership in NATO at the summit, which begins today in Lithuania.

Sullivan also said that a new package of NATO military assistance for Ukraine will be agreed upon at the summit.

As a reminder, at the summit, which will be held on July 11-12, Ukraine wants to get a political decision on supporting Ukraine's accession after the war.

For his part, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg hopes that the leaders of the Alliance will confirm that Ukraine will join NATO.
