Ukraine needs more air defense for the sea corridor

Jun 14, 2024

Today, millions of tons of cargo are being transshipped by the ports of Greater Odesa, and Ukraine has reached pre-war export levels. In the context of war, this is a "very good result," Denys Marchuk, deputy chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, emphasized on We-Ukraine.

However, Ukraine needs the help of its allies to ensure the smooth functioning of grain corridors and exports. According to Marchuk, air defense systems are critical to neutralizing enemy drones and missiles that threaten port infrastructure.

"Weapons are very important for us, because with what we received, we really demonstrated our readiness not only to ensure parity, but also to show our greater power and strength in the Black Sea. Marchuk emphasized that Ukraine, together with its partners, is able to fulfill all the tasks set to ensure food security in the world, including.
