Ukraine needs means to destroy Russian bomb carriers, which the invaders use to attack Ukrainian cities and the civilian population. This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He stated that KAB strikes are also carried out in the Donetsk region and other front-line and border regions on a daily basis.
"Ukraine requires the necessary forces and means to destroy the carriers of these bombs. In particular, Russian combat aircraft are where they are. This step is needed. I am grateful to all partners, and I am grateful to America for the strong decision that helped us stabilize the situation in the border Kharkiv region. We were able to destroy Russian missile launchers near the border and clusters of Russian occupiers. Such decisions must be continued," the president added.
According to Zelenskyy, since the beginning of June, the Russian army has dropped more than 2,400 guided aerial bombs on Ukraine, about 700 of them on the Kharkiv region.
