Ukraine plans to open new commodity positions for export to China

During the Seventh meeting of the Ukrainian-Chinese Subcommittee on Trade and economic cooperation, the opening of new commodity positions for the export of Ukrainian products was discussed.

This was reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Ukrinform reports.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka, acting at. head of the State Production and Consumer Service Olha Shevchenko and the leadership of the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China (GACC).

The parties discussed the conditions and necessary steps for mutual trade, especially the opening of new commodity positions for the export of Ukrainian products, in particular honey, flour, fish products, poultry meat, peas, fresh blueberries, fodder for productive animals (premixes), etc.

In addition, the parties agreed to initiate an exchange of experience between the veterinary specialists of the two competent authorities.

According to the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached on working out and signing protocols for the export of Ukrainian commodity items by the end of the year.

Today, more than 900 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export their products to China, including corn - 227 enterprises, milk, and dairy products - 35, soybeans - 55, barley - 51, meal and pulp - 48, beef - 6 and frozen blueberries and blueberries - 10.
