Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian Lancet attack drone
The Ukrainian military has "canceled" another Lancet attack drone from the enemy Russian army. The occupiers could use this drone to reconnoiter the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and drop combat units on them.
The video of the downing of the UAV by the Russian occupation forces was posted on the Telegram channel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, May 31. It was destroyed by small arms (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
The military of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Radio Engineering Brigade of the South Air Command performed accurate work.
"A Russian Lancet attack drone has been destroyed," the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement.
The Lancet UAV is a Russian barrage munition developed by ZALA Aero and has several types of guidance. The air speed is up to 300 km/h, the flight radius is up to 40 km. The maximum weight is 12 kg.
This drone can be used for both reconnaissance and strike missions. In combat mode, it can be armed with both high-explosive and fragmentation warheads.
