Ukrainian Armed Forces seize a new Russian tank as a trophy
Offensive actions always increase the number of captured enemies and the capture of trophy equipment and weapons. This was well proven by the events of last fall when the Kharkiv region was liberated from the occupiers.
Today, history is beginning to repeat itself. Every day our fighters take the occupiers prisoner near Bakhmut, in the south of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, where our offensive operations are underway.
There are also trophies. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a completely intact Russian T-80BVM tank, a brand new one, made in 2022.
Our soldier, who showed us the booty, said that the enemy's positions were very close by, so we had to quietly take the tank and pull it back to our positions.
