Ukrainian Defense Forces thwart enemy plans to occupy Borova

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during a telethon.

"Yes, he (the enemy - ed.) is trying to pull up reserves and the potential threat remains, but at the moment we are not talking about forming new powerful groups for the current repetition of the situation," Yusov explained.

At the same time, Yusov emphasized that the potential threat remains, and the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces are studying the situation, preparing for various scenarios.

What happened before

Earlier, soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade reported that the occupiers had launched an offensive and were using tank regiments to reach the borders of Luhansk region in the Borivske direction.

Later, the spokesman for the Khortytsia military unit, Nazar Voloshyn, said that the leadership of the Ukrainian Defense Forces was aware of the situation and was preparing a response to the occupiers.

The other day, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that the Russians were forming a certain strike group in the Borivske direction. Against this background, the authorities may soon announce the forced evacuation of children in this community.
