US Ambassador to Georgia calls for unity between Kyiv and Tbilisi

U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kellyanne Conway commented on relations between Kyiv and Tbilisi amid disagreements between the two countries over the imprisoned former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
This was quoted by the Georgia Online portal.
She noted that now is a "very tense time" as Russia "exerts enormous pressure" on both countries.
"Georgia and Ukraine have a common enemy and need unity, and I hope they can overcome this situation through diplomatic discussions and private conversations," Degnan added.
At the same time, the US ambassador to Georgia clarified that she does not comment on official communication between the two countries amid their tense relations.
