US expresses concern over India's relations with Russia
The United States has expressed concern about India's relations with Russia amid the war of aggression that Russia is waging against Ukraine.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this was stated by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.
The State Department spokesman was asked about the meeting in Russia between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.
Miller expressed hope that India and any other country that interacts with Russia will "make it clear that Russia must respect" the UN Charter, Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
"I'll be watching Prime Minister Modi's public statements to see what he was talking about, but as I said, we have been quite clear directly to India about our concerns about their relationship with Russia," the spokesman said.
