More about when a second meeting of leaders can go through, RBC -Ukraine is below.

It should be noted that the first summit of peace, which Ukraine organized in conjunction with Switzerland, took place on June 15–16. 92 countries took part in the event. In particular, the countries of the global South were presented, which, for the most part, have no such unambiguous opinion on the war in Ukraine as the Western countries.

The event was signed by a communique, which contained three main issues of the summit - nuclear and energy security, food supply, and the exchange of captives for all.

The document was signed by 84 countries and organizations. Later, Iraq and Jordan withdrew their signatures. Subsequently, Rwanda disappeared from the list of signatories.

At the same time, as President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, a week after the summit to the Committee of the Summit of Peace, six more participants joined.

There are several versions about holding the Second Peace Summit. In particular, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Ignaczis suggested that the next meeting of the Peace formula at the leaders level would be held before the US presidential election in November.

In his turn, the deputy head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Igor Zhovkva stated that the Second Summit of Peace wanted to be organized by the end of 2024 in one of the countries of the Global South.

The second world of peace can be special in the sense that it will be invited by representatives of Russia for the first time. Ukraine is preparing carefully. In particular, Russians in the West may present a plan of action to complete the war that will be developed before the event.

Whether the involvement of the Russian Federation in the summit is still unknown. Doubts raise sharp statements by Russian officials towards the Ukrainian initiative.

In particular, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov complained about the "Russophobic essence" of the formula of peace, which was held by the peace of peace. He also accused Ukraine of allegedly "put an ultimatum" before Russia.

At the same time president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that at the second summit the Russians wanted to submit a plan to "fix the real end of the war."

He specified that such a plan should be developed on the basis of which countries as the participating states see a fair peace and how it can be achieved if the UN Charter is in accordance.
