China's leader, Xi Jinping, said at a meeting with Poland President Andrzej Duda in Beijing said that China would look for a settlement of "crisis in Ukraine" in its own way.

"Xi Jinping emphasized that China's position on the" Ukrainian crisis "is to promote peace negotiations and political settlement," the statement said.
According to Si Jinping, it is now necessary to make efforts to prevent the expansion and strengthening of the conflict, to reduce tensions, and to create conditions for peace negotiations.
"China is ready to continue to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine. In its own way, and supports all efforts that contribute to the peaceful resolution of the crisis and the construction of an effective and stable European security architecture," the Chinese leader said.-
At the same time, he added that Beijing opposes criticism from other countries of his “ordinary trade” with Russia, which, he said, is China's discredit.
