Yermak invited Advisor to the Prime Minister of India to visit Ukraine

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a telephone conversation with National Security Advisor of the Prime Minister of India Ajit Kumar Doval.

This was reported by the press service of the Presidential Office.

Yermak thanked Doval for India's participation in the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

The parties discussed further steps of cooperation on the accession of new countries to the Joint Communiqué on the foundations of peace adopted during the Summit.

"We really hope that India will become a part of this communiqué, because it is very important," Yermak emphasized.

Doval, in turn, noted that India supports peace and will study in detail the document, which was supported by the majority of the Summit participants.

The parties also discussed strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

"The Head of the President's Office invited the Advisor to the Prime Minister of India to pay a visit to Ukraine. Ajit Kumar Doval said that he would consider this possibility," the statement said.
