Zelenskiy says Trump will support Ukraine if he wins election
U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump has quite controversial rhetoric about the war in Ukraine. But if he wins the election, he will support our country.
This was stated by U.S. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his interview with Fox News.
“I don't know what will happen after the election and who will be president... But I received very direct information from Donald Trump that he will be on our side, that he will support Ukraine,” the president said.
During the interview, Zelenskyy said that during their meeting in New York, Trump was really interested in hearing the details of the Ukraine Victory Plan directly from the Ukrainian head of state.
In addition, the Republican presidential candidate asked Zelenskyy many questions. In particular, about the situation at the front, about the necessary Western assistance, and about the causes of the war.
We would like to remind you that this week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a visit to the United States. During the trip, he met with U.S. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and former President Donald Trump to present them with the Ukraine Victory Plan.
