The bilateral security agreement with the United States contains provisions for the supply of military assistance to Ukraine, including air defense systems and fighter jets.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this at a press conference after signing the agreement with U.S. President Joe Biden on June 13.

According to Zelenskyy, the security agreement contains a "legally binding part," which means the reliability of American support, but he did not specify what it means.

Also, the President of Ukraine added, that the document provides for US support for Ukraine "to win the war," and it will continue in peacetime.

"The agreement contains good provisions on weapons for our defense, very specifically on Patriot systems, very specifically on the supply of fighter squadrons to Ukraine, in particular F-16s. We have been working on this for a long time," he emphasized.
