Zelensky and Biden to meet on September 21 in Washington
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan confirmed on Friday that Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet at the White House next Thursday, September 21.
This was reported by a correspondent of Yevropeiska Pravda.
Sullivan announced that the US President would meet with his Ukrainian counterpart after participating in the events of the UN General Assembly's High-Level Week.
"This will be their third meeting in the White House. It will take place at an extremely important time, when Russia is desperately seeking help from countries like North Korea for its brutal war in Ukraine, and Ukrainian troops are launching a counteroffensive," he emphasized.
The White House spokesman also announced that a regular meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense, known as the Ramstein format, will take place early next week.
