Ukraine is preparing a program to counter Russian guided aircraft bombs. Technological solutions have already been proposed.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
The head of state said that today, November 11, he held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.
According to Zelensky, he heard reports on further strengthening air defense. It was decided to increase the number of mobile fire groups in the regions that are priority targets for the occupiers. The decision of the Chiefs of Staff on better training and equipment for mobile fire groups is also being implemented.
“There was a report on a comprehensive program against Russian CABs. There are promising technological solutions,” the President noted.
He clarified that another report concerned the current state of Ukraine's missile program, including the development of its own guided aerial bombs. He was also informed about three-year contracts for manufacturers of drones and other types of weapons.
The President emphasized that the Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, had made a major report to the Stavka.
“There is a decision of the Commander-in-Chief to significantly strengthen the difficult areas - Kurakhove and Pokrovske,” he added.-
At the same time, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back almost 50,000 enemy troops in the Kursk sector.
