In Ukraine, 215 cases of sexual violence by the Russian military have been recorded, of which 143 cases are violence against women.
Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin provided such data during his online participation in the hearings of the US Helsinki Commission "Saving Ukrainian Children and Women from Russian Aggression", reports Ukrinform regarding the Prosecutor General's Office.
During the hearings, they talked about crimes committed by Russia against Ukrainian children and women.
"First-hand stories give the clearest picture of the situation. The hearing began with the video testimony of a Ukrainian woman whose grandson, a talented teenager, was killed by the Russian military in the first days of a full-scale war," Kostin said.
