The call of Russian President Vladimir Putin to arms is actually an admission that his invasion has been defeated.
This is reported with reference to the Twitter account of the British Ministry of Defense.
According to British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, Putin’s order to mobilize Russia for the first time since World War II is an admission by the head of the Kremlin that his invasion is failing.
Wallace blamed Putin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu for the deaths of tens of thousands of his own citizens who were ill-equipped.
“No amount of threats and propaganda can hide the fact that Ukraine is winning this war, the international community is united and Russia is becoming a global pariah”, Wallace stressed.
As reported before, Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Moscow is preparing to call up to 300,000 reservists.
