On December 3, Russian occupiers shelled Avdiivka and Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region. As a result of the enemy attack, a woman was killed and several other people were wounded.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to law enforcement officials, a 64-year-old local man sustained a perforating shrapnel wound during the shelling of Avdiivka. At the time of the attack, the man was in his backyard, which is located near the combat zone.
The prosecutor's office also reported that a woman in her 70s sustained gunshot shrapnel wounds in Kostyantynivka, and her 69-year-old fellow villager died on the spot from her injuries. Both victims were caught by enemy fire on the street.
"The Russian army fired at the settlements, probably using cannon artillery. The explosions also damaged private households," the prosecutor's office said.
