Chancellor Olaf Scholz plans to resume talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The last time they spoke was in 2022.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Scholz in an interview with ARD Mediathek.
According to Scholz, he plans to talk to the dictator “at the right time.”
“But I am a responsible politician, I will not do it alone,” he said, adding that a dialogue with Putin would require many contacts and negotiations with many other people.
He also noted that the issue of negotiations with Putin also needs to be discussed with Ukraine.
When asked when the talks between him and the dictator would take place, the chancellor replied: “Soon”.
