Shmyhal summarizes the results of talks with Ukraine's allies

May 28, 2024

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal named three topics that were raised at an informal meeting of Kyiv's allies - the leaders of the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Denmark, and the Netherlands and a representative of the United States - in Prague on May 28.

This was reported by the Ukrainian government.

According to the Prime Minister, the participants of the meeting discussed the Czech initiative to supply Ukraine with artillery ammunition, which has already raised more than 1.6 billion euros, and agreed on the need for the earliest possible delivery of shells.

The second issue was the provision of air defense systems for Ukraine, in particular Patriot systems, and the supply of F-16 fighter jets, which Kyiv expects to receive this summer.
