Britain starts voting in early elections

On the morning of July 4, voting will begin in the United Kingdom in early elections, which are predicted to lead to the transfer of power to the Labor Party after 14 years of the Conservative Party's rule.

On Thursday, the traditional election day, the British will determine the new composition of the House of Representatives and which political force will form the new government.

Polling stations in 650 constituencies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland open at 7:00 a.m. local time and will be open until 22:00.

From that moment on, vote counting and publication of exit polls will begin immediately. The first results by constituency may be available as early as 23:00 UK time, but the final results will likely be announced around 9:00 am.
