Russia is becoming the biggest threat to European security, - Burbock

German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock warned that NATO must continue to support Ukraine. As Russia remains the biggest threat to European security.

"For the foreseeable future, Russia will remain the greatest threat to our security and freedom in Europe. The West must take steps to protect freedom and democracy. We did not choose this. We did not want this," she said.

According to Burbock, Germany has a special responsibility in this regard, as it has regained lost trust thanks to its policy towards Russia.

"We must not risk this during the budget negotiations," the minister warned in connection with the current dispute in the German coalition over the 2025 budget.
