Zelenskyy expects "good things" for Ukraine from NATO summit

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the latest preparations ahead of the NATO summit to be held in Washington next week and announced "good things" for Ukraine, in particular, regarding air defense.

Direct speech: "The summit should be strong, strong for Ukraine and all our partners. There will be a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council. We are working on the details of new decisions, new documents that we will sign with our partners. There should be good things, in particular on air defense."

The President said he held a lengthy meeting on Thursday regarding the NATO summit, which will take place from July 9 to 12 in Washington.

Zelenskyy also said that "a new security agreement for Ukraine has been prepared."

"A strong agreement that will really support our entire architecture of security agreements. And this is what will guarantee our security until Ukraine joins NATO. A decision that is irreversible," the president said.
