This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the BBC.

According to exit polls conducted by the BBC, ITV, and Sky, the Conservatives are likely to have only 131 MPs in parliament, the lowest number in the post-war history of the UK.

The Liberal Democrats are expected to take third place with 61 MPs.

Instead, the leaders will be representatives of the Labor Party, which will have 410 members in parliament.

According to exit polls, the Scottish National Party will be reduced to 10 MPs, and Reform UK will have 13 MPs.

And the Green Party of England and Wales is likely to double its number of MPs to 2. Plaid Cymru will get four MPs. Others are projected to get 19 seats.

Reactions of the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives

It is worth noting that the Liberal Democrats consider these election results to be the best in a century. This opinion was expressed by the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Ed Davey, in reaction to the exit poll data.

"It looks like we've won more seats than in any general election in the last 100 years," he said, adding that there is still a long way to go, but "I'm very proud of our party."

Meanwhile, the Conservative Party's Work and Pensions Secretary, Mel Stride, told BBC Radio 4 that this is a "very difficult moment" for the Conservatives.
