This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

Erdogan stressed during a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Astana on the sidelines of the 24th summit of heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization that Turkey will continue to make efforts to ensure peace in its region and around the world.

Erdogan also added that Turkey can lay the groundwork for a consensus to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, first through a ceasefire and then peace.

"A just peace that can satisfy both sides is possible," the Turkish president emphasized.
