A plastic manufacturing warehouse caught fire in Omsk

On the night of Sunday, March 26, a large-scale fire broke out at a plastic warehouse in Omsk, Russia. The area of the fire was several thousand square meters.

This was reported by Russian media with reference to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The fire in Omsk has been assigned an increased complexity rating.

According to various sources, 55 to 65 rescuers and 13 to 16 units of special equipment arrived at the scene of the emergency. Later it became known that the fire was localized in an area of 3,500 square meters.

"The fire has been localized, four units of the gas and smoke protection service are working," the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the fire.
