Australia has joined the International Coalition of Countries for the Return of Ukrainian Children Deported by Russia.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
“Another country has taken our side in the fight for the rights of Ukrainian children who have suffered from illegal displacement and deportation. We are grateful to Australia for its support and willingness to help in returning little Ukrainians home,” Lubinets said.
The Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children is a joint initiative of Ukraine and Canada and was launched on February 2, 2024.
Australia became the 41st country to join the initiative.
