Ukraine condemns DPRK's ballistic missile test

Ukraine has condemned North Korea's test of an intercontinental ballistic missile. The DPRK's actions were called an irresponsible provocation.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

“This is another irresponsible provocation that undermines peace and stability both on the Korean peninsula and in the world as a whole,” the ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry recalled that North Korea has provided Russia not only with artillery ammunition and ballistic missiles, but also sends its troops to participate in the war against Ukraine, which continues to deliberately destabilize the situation.

“The test of the missile, which reached the highest possible altitude compared to previous launches, indicates further advancement of the DPRK's missile program. Against this background, the deepening of military cooperation between Russia and the DPRK is of particular concern, which requires an immediate and decisive response from the international community,” the statement said.

Ukraine calls on its partners to take immediate action to counteract the regimes of Russia and the DPRK - from strengthening sanctions to supporting the victory plan.
