U.S. President Joe Biden commented on the delay in allocating funds to support Ukraine in the U.S. Congress. According to him, such a delay is a "criminal inaction" on the part of congressmen.
RBC-Ukraine reported this regarding Bloomberg.
During a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Washington, the US President warned of "dire consequences" if US congressmen do not approve funding for Ukraine.
"The failure of Congress to support Ukraine is close to criminal negligence. It is outrageous," Biden said at the White House.
At the same time, the German chancellor expressed hope that American congressmen would come to an agreement and allocate funds to support Ukraine.
"I hope the House of Representatives will follow your lead and make the necessary decision to support you," Scholz said.-
