Biden: failure to support Ukraine is just absolutely crazy

US President Joe Biden has called the possibility of suspending military aid to Ukraine "absolutely crazy".

This was reported by The New York Times.

The US leader believes that the prospect of ending military aid to Ukraine is "just wrong".

"The failure to support Ukraine is just absolutely crazy. It’s against US interests," Biden said.

He noted that the United States will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine.

"We’re going to get that in," the American leader summarized.

It is worth noting that on Tuesday, December 5, the Democratic majority in the United States Senate presented a national security package worth about $111 billion. The document provides for financial assistance to Ukraine and Israel, as well as a set of measures to protect the southern border with Mexico.

However, this issue has caused heated debate between Democrats and Republicans.

Ukrainian officials are now calling on the US Congress to support Ukraine and approve the new aid package.
