The British government has asked President Emmanuel Macron to postpone the state visit of the British King to France.
This was reported by BFMTV.
According to Downing Street, the decision to postpone the state visit of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla to France was made after a request from Emmanuel Macron.
"The decision was made by agreement of all parties after the French president asked the British government to postpone the visit," the British prime minister's spokesman said after the Elysee Palace announced the postponement due to the protest movement in France against pension reform.
