Danilov says Putin will not deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Aleksey Danilov says that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin will not deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus.

Danilov believes that the dictator will not take such a step until he receives permission from the Chinese authorities.

"I can say that there will be no deployment of nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus and there cannot be until China gives Putin permission to deploy nuclear weapons there. Will China give Putin permission to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus? I am more than sure that it will not," Danilov said.

He emphasized that Putin makes his statements about nuclear weapons to force other countries to stop supporting Ukraine and start negotiations.

"There is no need to invent anything here, there is no conspiracy. This is such a stupid game of Russia, which is always intended to force the Americans, the Anglo-Saxons to negotiate with the Russians on our case," the NSDC Secretary said.
