Denmark to transfer 19 self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine

Denmark sends to Ukraine self-propelled artillery units Caesar of French production.
This was announced by Defense Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen after a meeting at the Foreign Policy Council, writes European Truth.
"This is a very large and significant assistance. We have been in constant contact with the Ukrainians on the Caesar artillery, and I am pleased that we now have the broad support of the Danish parliament to transfer it to the fight for Ukraine's freedom," the minister said.
The government has decided to hand over all 19 Caesar howitzers ordered from France. According to the defense minister, this decision was supported by the entire Foreign Policy Council.
Ukraine's request posed a dilemma for Danish politicians, as the weapons system is also important for Danish defense to establish the 4,000-strong 1st Brigade, which Denmark has pledged to NATO.
The transfer will be accompanied by a package of training and educational programs for Ukrainians.
