Dozens of explosions, fires, and destruction reported in Belgorod

A series of explosions occurred in Belgorod (Russian Federation) this evening, May 25, and air defense forces were deployed in the area. The incident resulted in fires, deaths, and injuries.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian media and the Telegram channel of the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

On Saturday, according to local residents online, there were about twenty explosions in this city.

The propagandists claim that the air defense system was working on shells and traditionally blamed Ukraine for the alleged shelling.

According to the Russian side, fragments of a shell shot down by air defense hit a residential building.

In addition, footage of fires was posted online, including in a high-rise building, previously in the suburbs of Belgorod, and a burning car.
