She confirmed the EU's promise to accept Ukraine into the bloc in the future.

"The future of Ukraine is in the European Union, in our community of freedom, and it will soon expand from Lisbon to Luhansk. With every village, with every meter that Ukraine liberates, with every meter where it saves its people, it also expands its path to the EU," she said.

As a reminder, on October 2, a meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council began in Kyiv, which is the first ever meeting of representatives of the ministries of all 27 member states outside the EU.

Baerbock also urges to help Ukraine on the eve of winter with everything the union has, among others, to create a "winter protective umbrella" for the war-torn country.
