Finland no longer rules out joining NATO separately from Sweden

Jan 24, 2023

He noted that the best option from the security point of view is for Finland and Sweden to join the Alliance together.

At the same time, he admitted, Helsinki may have to think about completing the accession process separately if the ratification of Sweden's accession is delayed for a long time. At the same time, Pekka Haavisto notes that it is too early to take a position on this issue.
