He says that the final stage of the creation of a volunteer military unit "Siberian Battalion" (the name "Non-Russian Battalion" is also being considered, in the original "non-Russian" - ed.) is underway, consisting of representatives of various ethnic groups living in the Russian Federation who disagree with Moscow's current policy.

This became known in an interview with Radio Liberty.

According to the former officer of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (the official name of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate), he is

"ready to go to the territory of Russia in a sabotage and reconnaissance group and destroy enemies there".

This is how he refers to those who "support Putin's government."

Vladislav Ammosov went through the Russian-Chechen war, rising from a private to an officer, and he does not hide the fact that he was an "imperialist." He was trained to "destroy entire countries."

However, he assures us that he left the service before the occupation of Crimea by Russia and lived for years in one of the EU countries.

At the same time, the former GRU officer answered a number of clarifying questions from Radio Liberty correspondent Taras Levchenko that "there are no exes."

At the same time, Vladislav Ammosov assures that he has passed the checks of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies. And he said he wanted to get to Ukraine immediately after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
