Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is a "true friend" of his country and its "staunch supporter in the European Union."
This was reported by Georgia Online.
Garibashvili's statement came after Georgian MP Roman Gotsiridze called Orban a "devil."
In response, the Georgian prime minister called on the MP to "control his words" when he speaks about Orban.
"Mr. Gotsiridze, I urge you to be correct when you speak about Mr. Orban. Mr. Viktor Orban is a true friend of our country. He supports us, he supports our country's accession to NATO, to the European Union, and he is one of our staunch supporters in the European Union," Garibashvili said.
