Germany to allocate 7 million euros to support Ukrainian refugees

Germany is increasing its support for hosting Ukrainian refugees in neighboring Moldova.

This is reported by Tagesschau.

The Ministry of Development will provide an additional seven million euros, Minister Svenja Schulze said during a visit to the border town of Stefan Voda.

By this time, Germany has helped refugees in the region to the amount of about 600 thousand euros. Among other things, it paid for laboratory equipment, cars, and psychosocial training for health centers and social administration workers.

Moldova has taken in more refugees from Ukraine relative to its population than any other country.
