Government allocates almost UAH 800 million for demining

At an extraordinary meeting on December 7, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated more than UAH 788 million for fortifications and demining.

Direct speech: "At an extraordinary meeting of the Government, we have just approved an order to provide funds to the Ministry of Defense to strengthen defense capabilities in the frontline regions."

Details: According to him, in particular, UAH 759 million will be allocated for the purchase of vehicles and UAH 29 million for special equipment.

Nemchinov emphasized that this would allow the formation of additional demining units and significantly accelerate the timeframe for clearing Ukrainian land of Russian mines and shells.
