In Russia, on the day of the funeral of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, held on March 1, security forces detained almost 130 people at public events in different cities.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing data from the human rights group OVD-Info.
It is noted that the detentions took place on the day of the funeral of the deceased Navalny on Friday in 19 cities of the aggressor country. The funeral was held in Moscow at the Borisov Cemetery.
According to the human rights activists, as of 22.15 local time, at least 128 detainees were known to be in custody.
The largest number of them was recorded in Novosibirsk (31 people). In Yekaterinburg - 19 people, in the village of Ramon, Voronezh region - 18, in Moscow - 17 detainees.
