The United States' military assistance to Ukraine will have a practical result on the battlefield.
This was stated by Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Vedant Patel, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the official's briefing on May 16.
“We know that this is a difficult time (for Ukraine - ed.), but we are confident that military assistance will also make a real difference on the battlefield,” he said.
Patel reminded that on March 15, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced an additional package of military aid to Ukraine worth $2 billion.
“These funds will be used to create a program of defense enterprises in Ukraine and to further strengthen Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russia and its further counteroffensives,” said the deputy spokesman.-
