Putin invented a cynical motive for offensive in the Kharkiv region
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has spoken out about the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region. He claims that Moscow allegedly wants to create a “sanitary zone.”
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Putin's statement, which was quoted by the Russian news agency TASS.
The dictator claims that Russia has no plans to seize Kharkiv at the moment.
He accused Ukraine of the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region. Putin said it was “a response to the shelling of Russian regions.”
In addition, Putin came up with a cynical justification for the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region. The dictator said that the goal of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region was to create a so-called “sanitary zone” to stop the shelling of Russia.
