Slovak Prime Minister Fico undergoes another surgery

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who was wounded in a shooting, underwent a second operation. This was reported by Aktuality.

The politician had necrotic tissue removed from his gunshot wound.

The operation lasted about two hours.

One shot went through the abdomen into the prime minister's hip bone. Fico suffered a hemorrhage in the abdominal cavity. The bullet also hit him in the shoulder.

Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliniak and hospital director Miriam Lapunikova reported on the health of Prime Minister Robert Fico, who is in Roosevelt Hospital in Banská Bystrica after the assassination attempt on Wednesday.
