Zelenskyy holds talks with the Liberian president

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a phone conversation with his Liberian counterpart, Joseph Newman Boakai. The parties, in particular, discussed preparations for the upcoming Global Peace Summit.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the Ukrainian president's Telegram channel.
According to Zelenskyy, during the conversation, he also informed his interlocutor about the consequences of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine.
The President also told Boakai about the impact of Russia's war against Ukraine on food security in Africa.
“I thanked him for the principled position of the Republic of Liberia in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. In this context, we discussed preparations for the Global Peace Summit,” Zelenskyy said in a statement.
