Iranian President denies supplying ballistic missiles to Russia

Iranian President Massoud Peseshkian claims that his country has not transferred weapons to Russia since he took office in late July.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Radio Liberty.

‘It is possible that the deliveries took place in the past... But I can assure you that there have been no such supplies to Russia since I took office,’ Pezeshkian said.

At the same time, he stressed that Iran and Russia ‘have the right to maintain relations’.

Also, according to him, the war in Ukraine was provoked by NATO countries, ‘breaking their promise not to expand eastward’.
