On 17 September, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Lithuanian Ambassador Inga Stanitė-Tolocienė.

Perebyinis thanked her for Lithuania's continued support for Ukraine, its military, humanitarian and financial assistance, Lithuania's leadership in the ‘coalition for demining’ and participation in many other coalitions of capabilities created by partners within the Ramstein format.

Inga Stanitė-Tolocienė assured of the Lithuanian government's readiness to further strengthen military, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

As a reminder, the previous Lithuanian ambassador to Ukraine was Valdemaras Sarapinas, who left Kyiv in June due to a scheduled rotation and became ambassador to Poland.
