Explosions occurred in Sumy, “Shaheds” were spotted in the region

In the morning of September 18, explosions occurred in Sumy. At this time, an air alert was declared in the region due to enemy kamikaze drones.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Suspilne Sumy.

The explosions were heard near the city of Sumy around 05.08.

Before that, the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of enemy attack drones in Sumy region, in particular on the border with Poltava region.

“Shakedowns in Sumy region - heading west, and one UAV on the border of Poltava region,” the military said in a statement at almost five in the morning.

Update: power facilities were hit

As reported in the morning by the Sumy City Military Administration on Telegram, last night the Russians attacked Sumy's energy facilities with Shaheds.

The MMA said that there were no casualties, and that they are currently eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack.
